Should I trust this pet store?
There's this pet store called Fort Lee Pet Shop Inc in NJ and it's a small locally owned business. I'm looking for a hamster, and I want to get only the healthiest. I've looked up reviews on Google and asked many friends and they all agree that this store sells great pets. Now, I can't trust pet store pets to be the healthiest. So, should I trust this store? Check for obvious signs of health problems. blood (obviously), disharge from eyes, you can see wet brown splotches on its rump (if you know what i'm saying), make sure the bedding is clean, look at it and make sure that it is bright, alert, or curious. Otherwise, i think this store could be trustworthy. If anything bad occurs, you can always contact the store and complain and ask for a refund or free vet care. If it's a small business store, they're going to have more time to take care of the pets, unlike the huge stores who have hundreds of animals to care for.
